Cancelation and Rescheduling Policy

Why do you collect a deposit to book an appointment?

To reduce the number of missed appointments and late cancellations, we ask all patients to pay a deposit to secure their appointment. A minimum fee of £60.00 applies to secure appointments. The fee can be deducted from the cost of a treatment.

Where the appointment is complimentary, we may still request the relevant deposit to reserve the appointment at the time of booking and refund the deposit upon attendance to your appointment.

We require 48 hours’ notice to change or cancel an appointment to avoid your deposit being forfeited. Any bookings made within 48 hours of the appointment date and time are subject to the same terms as described above.

How can I lose my deposit?

If you fail to show up for an appointment on time or fail to notify us at least 48 hours in advance of a cancellation or rebooking your appointment. CJ Dental Studio will keep the deposit and require a new deposit to be made to book a new appointment.

Are there any exceptions?

There may be exceptions made in the event of a genuine emergency. We will rebook a new appointment if there is a medical emergency with either the patient or a close relative (we would kindly request a medical certificate to be shown on your next appointment).

What if I am late for my appointment?

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to see you and your deposit or fee may still be forfeited.
