Do I need to whiten my teeth before?
If you are happy with the current colour of your teeth then there is no need to whiten your teeth first.
If you want to improve the shade of your teeth and have a brighter smile you will need to whiten your teeth prior to cosmetic bonding, as the shade of the composite will need to be matched to the shade of your teeth. The composite cannot change colour afterwards and does not whiten with the whitening gels.
