Nigel Mabvuure

Mr Mabvuure is a Consultant Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeon with a substantive appointment at the world-famous Christie Cancer Centre. He specialises in reconstructing patients with head and neck, vaginal defects as well as treating facial paralysis both surgically and with Botox.

He completed medical school in Brighton with both Distinction and Honours and the most academic prizes of any students. Plastic surgery training was at world famous centres in Essex, Newcastle and Norwich as well as a specialist fellowship in advanced head and neck/facial reanimation surgery in Chelmsford.

As a facial paralysis and head and neck specialist surgeon, Mr Mabvuure has a firm grasp of facial anatomy and function. He has used Botox and contour augmentation techniques to treat facial paralysis patients, which is one of the most difficult problems in plastic surgery.
