Non Surgical Periodontal Therapy
This type of teeth cleaning involves deep cleaning of your teeth and roots. Usually with the use of local anaesthetic to ensure a pain free and comfortable appointment.
It is the most advanced hygiene clean we offer here at CJ Dental Studio and is suitable to patients who have advanced gum disease, known as periodontal disease.
Following your visit with one of our hygienists, dental therapists or dentists you will be advised whether this clean is needed for you.
It is not a standard hygiene clean, therefore we recommend you only book in for non-surgical periodontal therapy after getting a professional opinion.
This will usually take 2 to 4 visits depending on the severity of your periodontal disease and your personal preferences.
If this type of treatment is not successful in treating your condition, we will refer you to a Periodontal Specialist.
